Dogs should come with enough of their own dog food for the entire stay.

All of our guests are required to be vaccinated for Bordetella, Rabies & Distemper/Parvo.

If your dog becomes ill during their stay, you will be contacted immediately about the concern. If you are unavailable then your listed veterinarian will be contacted, but if needed your dog will be taken to urgent care for necessary care - all at the owner’s cost.

Daycare charges are for pups staying for just the day - pickup and drop-offs on the same day, between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00 pm.

Currently daycare hours are only for Saturday and Sundays. Once the facility is completed in 2024, we will have weekday daycare. We are sorry for the inconvenience, however if the weekends work for you, then your pup is sure to have a great time.

We started Barkin Barn LLC because of the love we have for animals. Our pets are a part of our family, and we want to make sure when you are away, your pets are treated like family too.

We do our best to make sure your dog's stay is comfortable, safe and happy - and stress free for your entire family. Whether their stay is just for a day or weeks we promise to provide your dog with the best care possible.

We provide a safe and clean environment for your dog to sleep, eat and play. We take pride in focusing on your dog's individualized needs - your dog may be shy, elderly, special needs, or a young pup that needs a bit more practice socializing. We are here to provide that special care.

We are the home away from home comfort that all families need when leaving their pup in someone else's care.

Since our dogs interact in an all-day play environment, it’s important for them to get along well with others.

To maintain our incredibly high safety standards and satisfaction ratings, we require your pup to be:

-At least four months old

-Spayed or neutered (if seven months old or older)

-Current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines*

-Flea/tick-free and in good overall health

-Free of wounds or stitches of any kind

-Wearing a quick-release collar (not a break-away collar)

-Friendly with other dogs and people

-Wearing a name tag

Reservations are required at Barkin Barn. Typically, you may cancel your boarding or daycare reservation without penalty. However, a cancellation fee, per Dog, is charged for cancellations or no-shows that occur without proper notice (24 hours before your pet is scheduled to arrive).

The fee schedule is as follows:

Daycare: Cost of one day of daycare, based on reservation type

Boarding: Cost of one night of boarding, based on reservation type

A non-refundable deposit is required to hold reservations during busy holiday times when we expect our facility to reach capacity (Christmas, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Independence Day). The deposit will be due approximately 30 days prior to the start of the reservation.

Weather permitting, your dog will have access to all-day outdoor play time with other dogs of the same size and temperament. While your dog is outside playing, their room will be cleaned each day. Our play yards are supervised and always have water, shade, and splash pools for the hot days of summer.

In the winter, the outdoor play schedule is adapted to shelter the dogs from extreme cold..

We love taking care of your pets during the holidays! Although our front office and reservations departments are closed on major holidays (Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Spring Break, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Independence Day), we are here to take care of the pets in our care at the time.

A 4-night minimum stay is required during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

With special consideration Barkin Barn will accept dogs that have not been spayed or neutered. A small daily fee applies for intact dogs older than 6 months.

Contact us to reserve space for your dog. Be aware that for major holidays, it is best to book several months in advance! New clients should be ready to provide us with basic information about the breed and weight of your dog, as well as the dates of your dog’s most recent vaccinations.

A credit card is required to hold your reservation. For major holidays, an advance deposit will be required. This deposit is non-refundable but will be applied to your total bill at the end of your dog’s stay.

You can drop your pup off Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pups that need to be dropped off earlier, can be dropped off as early as 6:30 AM with an additional early drop off fee of 20.00.

Barkin Barn works like a hotel. Our checkout time is at Noon. If you pick your pup up after Noon, a daycare charge will apply.

The price for boarding includes your dog’s indoor bedroom for sleeping and dining, plus outside playtime. Dogs in the same family can stay together in the same indoor bedroom, or we’ll provide separate accommodations if that is preferable.

Feeding, playtime, daily cleaning, and lots of love will always be provided during your pup’s stay. We have plenty of blankets, toys, and treats.

Dog food should always be provided by owners.

Yes, we do have rooms for cats too.
