Inspired by a special pup
Barkin Barn was founded in memory of our sweet girl Callie.
Callie was our girl that went everywhere with us, and I felt no one could care for her like me. Callie was that incredibly sweet girl that loved everybody and everyone loved her. She was funny, smart, loving, and all around perfect. She was truly my heart dog, and will never be forgotten. We lost her unexpectedly and suddenly on March 8, 2023 to cancer.
Barkin Barn has always been our dream, but the month I lost Callie, I made it a reality for her and all the families that have a hard time trusting and leaving their pets in the care of others. We have made it our promise to care for every pet that enters our doors to be treated like family.

Our Values
Our goal is to provide a safe, secure environment that feels like home for each of our pet guests. We understand the importance of knowing every dog's individualized needs - your dog may be shy, elderly, anxious or a young pup that needs socializing skills.
We take pride in knowing that we will provide that special care. Promoting a healthy, nurturing and clean facility with lots of love is our priority. Our family is committed to the highest standard with each guest in our care. We strive to create lasting partnerships with each family and devote ourselves to pet care excellence.
Our Facility
We are in the first phase of opening our doggy daycare and boarding facility. The large facility will be completed in Fall 2024, but in the meantime, we have found everyone is loving the location of our boarding space in our home.
When you arrive at Barkin Barn, you will be welcomed into our home where you and your dog(s) feel right at home. The large kennels are in a climate-controlled, safe, and comfortable space. All kennels will be furnished with bedding, bowls, toys, and treats to help your pup feel welcomed and comfortable.
The kennel space is bright, has lots of windows, and is comfortable, with full access to a fenced play area that is available to pups many times throughout the day.
Family Owned and Operated
Our family run facility will always treat every pup like one of the family. Each guest will get the extra care that they need and deserve on a personal level for their needs. We live on the property, so this allows for an extra level of care and comfort for you and your pup.
We are set in the serene countryside in Elizabeth on over 11 acres. We offer an open setting surrounded by pine trees, horses, and private roads, where your pup will be safe and happy.
